It's hard to get used to spending a dollar or more on a little scratch pad... A mental hurdle I'm having trouble with. To me, a pocket Moleskine should be about $4, a nice 5x8 sketchbook should be around $6-8, and a pad this size should run me about $0.80 to $1. Obviously the part of my brain that decides reasonable values is living in fantasy land. Judging by the rest of the marketplace, these pads should be about $5 ea. The paper quality is excellent, perforation is very nice, and the dot grid is useful and conservative. The same thing in a bound journal style would run a lot more... well, look at the Rhodia Webnotebooks to see what it costs.
