Take a walk through Shenandoah National Park with the Field Notes Fall 2015 limited edition release. Their 28th colors limited edition release contains three notebooks, each covered with a different shade of green to match various trees of the park, and interior cover colors to match the trees' fall foliage. Instead of printing different colors on both sides of white cover stock, Field Notes adhered two different colored stocks together to form the cover combinations. This resulted in extremely sturdy covers and an overall beefier final product. The back of each notebook features an illustration of leaf and some information about its respective tree.
The notebooks measure the usual 3.5" x 5.5", but have a sturdier-than-usual interior stock of 60#T Finch Opaque "Bright White" paper (an increase from 50#T.) Each of the 48 pages are printed with a 3/16" square graph ruling, then the entire book is secured with three sturdy staples and finished off with 3/8" rounded corners. The belly bands of these notebooks is made with real birch veneer, making for a beautiful final presentation.
Just like all other Field Notes limited editions, once it's sold out, it's gone for good!
